I was shopping the other day and saw this cute little restaurant next-door called Lee’s Chinese Restaurant. I thought Lee’s Restaurant would be super “Americanized Chinese,” just because the outside gave me that vibe, but actually it seemed to have some more authentic Chinese food. Sheesh. Secret Chinese Menu.
I ordered the “Shredded Duck Mushroom Soup.” That soup was so tasty and something I wouldn’t change in my trip. I ordered it from the “Secret Chinese Menu.” The only reason I knew about the menu is because my server could tell I knew something (very little, but more than the significantly below average bear) about Chinese food. I posted photos of that menu.
For my entree, I ordered the Szechuan Pork. Bro…it had some heat. I ordered spice level mild and I still had a bit of a “heatwave” going on. But that was also partly because the food was so damn good that I couldn’t stop shoveling that noodle down my gullet.
Lee’s Chinese Restaurant is located at 6215 W. Kellogg Dr. in western Wichita, on the southeast corner of Dugan & Kellogg.
