So when I was at the Old Town Farm & Art Market in Old Town Wichita, which is located in Wichita, Kansas in Old Town, I saw this little dude (meaning a kid, duh) and his mom hawking eggs across the street.
They had a sign and a business card called “Pipes Eggs.” I don’t know if they have a social media presence. Couldn’t find one.
Anyway, around 100 years ago when I was that little dude’s age, I had a bunch of laying hens. True story. I sold white and brown eggs. $1 for a dozen white eggs. $1.50 for a dozen brown eggs. Every single week. Actually a couple of times per week. For years.
I just thought it was cool seeing a little dude learning about business and work ethic and his mom being a good mom. Pardon the French, but that’s some good ish.
I believe they are by the Old Town Farm & Art Market every Saturday.
