Nine old men with ball caps and one old man with a perfectly asymmetrical bald head sat in the diner in Ford, Kansas called R&V Blue Hereford. I’ll let you guess which one was me.
This was my first visit since November 2023 and like last time, I don’t know why it took so long to go. It’s always good food and welcoming service. Rosa, the owner, was my server again, just like nearly three years ago. And a lot of the food is homemade and all made to order. Even the salsa you can see on my breakfast burrito is made in-house.
Speaking of which, I ordered the Burrito Supreme. For $7.99, it comes loaded with eggs, hash-browns, cheese, ham, bacon, sausage, onion, tomato, bell pepper and jalapeño. With that salsa. It was excellent. Lightly toasted tortilla makes all the difference in the world IMO.
