FULL DISCLOSURE: I was invited to a “friends and family” event the day before the “Grand Opening” of the second Teriyaki Madness in Wichita. Which is kind of funny because I have no friends, and I find family to be, like, really annoying. So, they really screwed up in allowing me in the doors. But the point is that I did NOT pay for my food.

Some weirdos and I split the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, the Teriyaki Steak Bowl, the Spicy Chicken Bowl and the Orange Chicken Bowl. Personally, I liked the Spicy Chicken Bowl the best. But that was also because it had the Yakisoba Noodles. Everyone knows that in a contest between rice versus noodle, noodle wins 100% of the time, all the time.

I think this will be a good addition to this area of town. It’s over just south of Central & Hillside, technically in College Hill. There’s no other Japanese (or really, even Asian) food in this area and certainly none that is quick like this spot. Worth giving it a try if you never have before. And who knows…you just might find yourself saying “Have a rice day!” to the staff as you hurriedly sprint to your car to make it to your karate lesson.
