I guess I’m just a sucker for history. But I found it so interesting that it was 75-years ago (in 1951) when Wichita Area Builders Association was formed. At that time the organization was desperately needed because Boeing had invested a sh** ton of money into Wichita manufacturing during and post-WWII. And as a result, Wichita had doubled in size. Let’s just say that the city needed homes. Lots of them.

Learning more about Wichita Area Builder’s Association during its 75th Anniversary with a great dinner catered by Blue Moon Caterers and a backdrop of the famous “Doc,” (the B-29 Superfortress plane housed at B-29 Doc Center over by Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport) only made learning the history even better.

On a personal note — I want to give a shout out to a very good friend and confidant of mine. Tyler, you nailed it last night. But you still owe me a drink.
