Even Gryff thought the ish from Japan Express in Wichita, Kansas looked formidable. Cause it is.
Not sure there is anything here that sucks. It’s all good. By now, you know my favorite thing in the world is JE’s Brown Egg. That’s the thing that looks like an egg that also looks brown. And I ordered the Oyakodon and it was so damn good. Oyakodon is a traditional Japanese dish that comes with chicken thigh meat, which allows for plenty of juice/broth, onion, egg and parsley. The broth is sort of soy based I think. Meanwhile, Gertie (my on-again-off-again woman) ordered the same thing she always gets. Man, it’s annoying. The Chicken Teriyaki. But it’s good. Don’t get me wrong.
Japan Express is located at 2250 N. Rock Rd. in Wichita, which is by that Dillons on North Rock.
